How your client approves

Send the quote and your client gets an email with a PDF and a no-login link. On that page they select Approve, then sign by drawing with a finger or typing their name. A line above the pad says that signing accepts the quote, its costs and any terms that apply. They can use Download PDF at any time, and once they approve, the page shows the approval date with their signature on it.

Signing in person

  1. 1
Open the quote on your phone

Go to Quotes and open the quote. It has to be awaiting a response.

  2. 2
    Select Collect Signature

It is in the menu beside the main button. A signature pad opens.

  3. 3
    Hand your client the phone

They sign with a finger. Tick Send your client a copy to email them the signed PDF.

  4. 4
    Submit

The quote becomes Approved, exactly as if they had signed the link themselves.

When a client wants changes

If you allow it, the quote page also carries a Request changes button. Your client writes what they want revised, the quote moves to Changes requested, and their message appears on the quote so you can revise it and send again. Both switches are in Settings > Documents > Quotes, under How clients approve.

Editing an approved quote removes the signature. The version your client signed is kept as a PDF with the quote, and the quote goes back to Awaiting response so they can approve the new one.

No. The link in the email works without one. A client who does have a Homeezy account can also approve from their own Quotes page.

Yes. Mark as Approved records that your client said yes without a signature, for the times you agreed by phone. Use Collect Signature instead when they are with you and you want their signature on the PDF.

On the quote and on its PDF: the drawn mark or the typed name, with the name and date under it. Sends, opens, change requests and approvals are all in the quote's activity feed.
