How to share documents with clients
Send quotes, contracts, and invoices by email with a PDF and a no-login link your client can open in any browser.
How do I share a document with a client?
On the Documents page, open the ⋮ menu on a contract or invoice row and choose Resend (or send it from the document itself). Homeezy emails the client a PDF copy plus a secure no-login link they can open in any browser — no account or password required. You can also Copy link to share it however you like.
Send a document by email
- 1Open the document's menu
On Documents, click the ⋮ menu on the contract or invoice you want to share.
- 2Choose Resend / Send
Pick the send option to open the send dialog. The recipient field is pre-filled with the linked client's email when one is on file.
- 3Add a message (optional)
Type a short note for the client if you'd like — for example, a payment reminder or thank-you.
- 4Send
Click Send. Homeezy emails a PDF and the no-login link, and shows you the link so you can copy it too.
Copy a shareable link
Once a document has been shared, its ⋮ menu offers Copy link. This is the same secure public link the email contains — paste it into a text message, your own email, or a chat. The link opens a clean, read-only view of the document.
The public link is a no-login link: anyone who has it can view that document. Share it only with the intended client, and resend to generate a fresh send when needed.
