How does AI contract drafting work in Homeezy?

From a project's Documents tab, choose to draft a contract with AI. Describe the job — by voice or text, optionally with photos and your existing project documents as context — and Homeezy generates contract wording you can review, edit, and turn into a finished contract. As with quotes, nothing is final until you approve the draft.

What the AI drafts

The AI produces plain-language contract prose based on what you tell it — typically the scope of work, payment schedule, warranty, and any special conditions. It can draw on the project's quotes and other documents to keep details consistent with what you've already quoted.

Open the project's Documents tab
Go to Projects, open the project, and switch to its Documents tab.

Start the AI draft
Choose the option to draft a contract with AI.

Describe the work
Use voice or text, add photos if helpful, and let it reference existing project documents for context.

Review and finalize
Read the drafted prose, edit anything you want, then generate the final contract and send it for signature.

AI-drafted contracts are a starting point, not legal advice. Always read the full document and adjust the terms to your business and local rules before sending it to a client.

Yes. When you draft from a project, the AI can reference that project's existing documents — like quotes — so the contract stays consistent with what you've already proposed.

Set up your terms of service in Settings → Documents and they can be applied to generated contracts. See Add terms of service.

There's a daily AI drafting limit per account. If you reach it, you'll see a message — try again the next day or write the contract manually.
