How does Homeezy keep my account secure?
Homeezy uses passwordless email sign-in, encrypted connections, and PCI-compliant Stripe for payments. Here's how to keep your account safe.
How does Homeezy keep my account secure?
Homeezy signs you in with a passwordless email code (a one-time code sent to your inbox), so there's no password to leak or reuse. All traffic is encrypted in transit, payments run through PCI-compliant Stripe, and access to your business data is protected by row-level security so only you and your team can see it.
How sign-in works
Instead of a password, you enter your email and Homeezy sends a single-use code (or magic link). Because the code expires quickly and only arrives in your inbox, your account is protected as long as your email is secure.
- 1Secure your email inbox
Your email is the key to your account. Turn on two-factor authentication with your email provider and use a strong, unique password there.
- 2Don't share codes
Homeezy will never ask you to read your login code to a person over the phone or chat. A code is for you alone.
- 3Sign out on shared devices
If you log in on a borrowed or public computer, sign out when you're done from the account menu.
Homeezy support will never ask for your login code, your card number, or your Stripe credentials. If a message asks for any of these, treat it as a scam and report it to support@homeezy.com.
Adding team members gives them their own sign-in instead of sharing yours — that's both safer and easier to manage.
No. Homeezy uses a one-time email code each time you sign in, so there's no password to remember, reset or have stolen.
Change your email account password immediately, sign out of all sessions, and contact support@homeezy.com so we can help secure your workspace.
Yes. Client contacts, quotes and documents are protected by row-level security, so only your workspace can read them. See the privacy and your data article for details.
Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant provider. Homeezy never stores full card numbers for your subscription or for your clients' payments.
