Send a material selection for client approval and track every response — approved, declined, or changes requested.

How do I share a material selection with my client?

In the selection builder, click Send to client and confirm. Your client receives the selection, reviews each option, and responds — approving, declining, or requesting changes. The status updates from sent to viewed to a final decision, and an activity feed records every response with a timestamp.

Sharing turns your draft into a record both sides can rely on. You'll always know whether the client has opened it, which options they approved, and exactly when they signed off.

Statuses you'll see

  • Draft — still editable; not yet sent.
  • Sent — delivered to the client, awaiting a look.
  • Viewed — the client has opened it.
  • Accepted — the client approved their picks.
  • Changes requested — the client wants different options.
  • Declined — the client turned the options down.

Track responses

    Open the selection

    From Materials, click the selection to open its detail page.

    Read the response summary

    The header shows how many options were responded to and breaks them down by approved, declined, and changes requested.

    Check the activity feed

    The activity panel logs each event in order, and a sign-off banner confirms who approved and when.

Use the status and project filters on the Materials list to quickly find selections that are still waiting on a client or that need follow-up.

Open the selection's detail page. Each option shows its status, and the header summarizes the approved, declined, and changes-requested counts.

Yes. They can request changes, which sets the selection to "Changes requested". Create a new selection with the revised options and send it.
