How do I track a project's progress?

Your Projects list shows every job with a status pill — lead, quoted, ready to start, in progress, completed, or declined — so you can see your whole pipeline at a glance. Open any project to drill into its Documents, Materials, and Tasks tabs, where quotes, invoices, material approvals, and task check-offs each move the job forward.

Progress in Homeezy is the sum of small signals: a quote sent, a contract signed, materials approved, tasks completed. Each one updates the status, so you rarely have to ask "where does this job stand?" — the list already tells you.

The pipeline stages

  • Lead — a new job, no quote sent yet.
  • Quoted — you've sent a quote and are waiting on the client.
  • Ready to start — the contract is signed and work can begin.
  • In progress — work is underway.
  • Completed — the job is done.
  • Declined — the job didn't go ahead.

Move a job forward

  1. 1
    Filter and find the job

On Projects, use search or the Filter button to narrow by stage, then open the project.

  2. 2
    Work the tabs

Send quotes and invoices from Documents, get approvals from Materials, and check off work in Tasks.

  3. 3
    Watch the status update

As you send a quote, sign a contract, or complete the work, the project's status pill advances on its own.

Use the Filter button on the Projects list to show only active jobs (lead, quoted, ready to start, in progress) when you want to focus on what needs attention.

Mostly no — sending a quote, signing a contract, or completing the work advances the status automatically. You can still review where each job sits from the Projects list.

It reflects the quote amount tied to the job, so you can size your pipeline by dollar value, not just by count.

Yes. The Tasks page pulls every task from every active project into one list or board.
