How do I apply to a job on the Homeezy marketplace?

Open a job card from the marketplace to see the full project details — location, timeline, scope, and any photos. When you're ready, click Apply, confirm in the dialog, and Homeezy registers your interest. The job then shows an Applied tag, and the homeowner becomes a lead you can follow up with.

Step by step

  1. 1
    Open the job

From the marketplace, click a card to open its detail page.

  2. 2
    Review the details

Read the project description, timeline to start, service type, and any photos or map so you know it's a good fit.

  3. 3
    Click Apply

Use the Apply button at the bottom of the details. A confirmation dialog appears.

  4. 4
    Confirm

Confirm to submit your application. The job now shows Applied, and you won't be charged again to view it.

Apply quickly to fresh leads — jobs tagged new (posted in the last 48 hours) and with urgent timelines tend to move fast. Then follow up promptly with the homeowner.

Flagging a bad lead

At the bottom of a job you can give a quick thumbs-up or thumbs-down. If a lead is low quality, fake, or not a match, the thumbs-down lets you tell us why — this helps Homeezy send you better leads over time.

The job is marked Applied and the homeowner becomes a lead. Reach out to them and move the work into a quote, contract, and project.

No. Once you've applied, the button shows Already applied so you don't submit twice.

Use the thumbs-down on the job detail page, choose a reason (such as not enough information, no match, or fake), and optionally add details.
