Public invoice links — pay without a login
Share an invoice with a no-login link your client opens to view the PDF and pay online by card.
What is a public invoice link?
A public invoice link is a secure web address that lets your client view and pay an invoice without a Homeezy account. The link is created when you send the invoice — the Send dialog shows it with a Copy link button — and from it your client can review the invoice and, if you've connected Stripe, pay online by card.
Sending and sharing the link
- 1Send the invoice
In the invoice builder, select Send, enter the recipient email, and add an optional message.
- 2Copy the link
After sending, the dialog shows the public link with a Copy link button — paste it into a text or chat for a faster nudge.
- 3Client pays
Your client opens the link, reviews the invoice, and pays online if Stripe is connected. The status updates automatically.
The invoice's public link becomes available once you send it. Quotes and generated contracts get a link from the moment they're created, but invoices are shared at send time.
Yes, if you've connected Stripe. The public invoice page offers a secure online card payment. Without Stripe, the client can still view and download the invoice.
Yes. Each link uses a unique token tied to one invoice. Share it only with the client who owes the invoice.
The same public link continues to work. If you edited the invoice, resending updates the PDF your client sees.
