How do I turn an accepted quote into an invoice?

Open an accepted quote and select Invoice this. Homeezy creates a new invoice from the quote — copying the line items and totals — and takes you straight to the invoice builder. From there you can set a due date, adjust taxes, and send it.

  1. 1
    Open the accepted quote

Go to Quotes and open a quote with the accepted status.

  2. 2
    Select Invoice this

The Invoice this button appears in the header of accepted quotes. Select it.

  3. 3
    Review the new invoice

Homeezy opens the invoice builder with the quote's lines already filled in. Set a due date and confirm taxes.

  4. 4
    Send to get paid

Send the invoice to your client. If you've connected Stripe, they can pay online.

If an invoice already exists for that quote, Homeezy asks whether you want to view the existing invoice or create another one — so you never accidentally double-bill.

Converting is optional but saves time — the line items and totals copy over. You can also create a fresh invoice and add lines manually.

Yes. The converted invoice is a normal draft until you send it. Adjust the title, due date, lines, and taxes as needed.

The button only appears on accepted quotes. If the quote is still a draft, sent, or declined, accept it first or build the invoice manually.
