Your public profile link comes from your business name. Learn how your Homeezy handle is generated and how to shape a clean, shareable URL.

How is my Homeezy profile URL (handle) created?

Your public profile URL is homeezy.com/u/your-handle, and your handle is generated automatically from your business name. For example, a business named Ottawa Builders becomes the handle ottawa-builders. When you edit your business name, the profile editor previews the matching handle so you can see the URL it produces.

Shape a clean handle

Open the profile editor
Go to Edit profile.

Adjust your business name
As you type, the field shows a hint with the profile URL your name will produce, so you can keep it short and memorable.

Save and test the link
Save, then open your business page and use Share to confirm the final /u/your-handle link.

Changing your business name can change your handle, which changes your public link. If you've already shared the old URL, update it wherever you've posted it.

Your handle is derived from your business name (lowercased, spaces become dashes). Choose a clear, concise business name to get a clean, professional URL.

Lowercase letters, numbers, and dashes. Spaces and special characters are converted automatically when the handle is generated from your name.

On your business page, the Share button shows and copies your exact homeezy.com/u/your-handle link.
