How does AI invoice drafting work in Homeezy?

Inside the invoice builder, select the AI draft button. Describe the completed work — by voice, by text, with photos, or by referencing the project's existing quotes and documents — and Homeezy generates suggested line items in seconds. Review the suggestions, pick which to keep, and they're added to the invoice. Nothing is added until you approve.

Drafting from the work you did

  • Voice or text — describe what you completed; the AI turns it into billable line items.
  • Photos — add job-site photos for context.
  • Source documents — when the invoice is tied to a project, the AI can reference that project's quotes and other documents so the invoice lines up with what was quoted.

    Open the invoice you want to draft into.

    Select the AI draft button

    Find it next to Add line, in the line-items area.

    Describe and generate

    Describe the work, optionally add photos or source documents, and generate.

    Pick and add

    Select which suggested lines to keep, then add them. Edit descriptions, quantities, and prices as needed.

Review every AI-suggested line before sending. Make sure quantities and prices reflect the work you actually delivered.

No. You review the suggestions in a preview and choose which to add. You stay in control of the final invoice.

Yes. When the invoice is linked to a project, the AI can use that project's quotes and documents as context, so the invoice stays consistent with what you quoted.

Yes, there's a per-account daily AI drafting limit and a per-document cap. You'll see a message if you hit either one.
